Par List

Use this page to set up a par list for a location. A par list is a list of items and their par (or required) quantities that you want to keep in inventory at a location. By using a par list, you can ensure that a location always has the required quantities of the items that it carries in stock.

To access this page, search for Locations > Actions > HMM > Par List.

Set up Par Lists for Locations

The HMM Location Par List page displays a list of locations for which you can setup par lists. For each location you can add items and enter par quantities and costs for the items. Review the following rules for using the Par List page before setting up your own par lists.

  • You must set up stockkeeping units (SKU) for items and locations which you want to set up par lists for.
  • If there is only one replenishment type location, then that location is used as the default replenishment site when you are setting up par lists.
  • There must be an existing SKU for item and replenishment locations and the type of usage must be set as Stock.

To set up a par list, do the following:

  1. Search for and open the Locations page.
  2. Select the location to set up a par list.
  3. On the Action tab of the Locations page, select Actions > HMM > Par List. To see the menu navigation path, refer to the image below.

  4. Add a new line to add an item to the par list for the location.
  5. Under Item No., select the item.
  6. Under Par Unit of Measure, select the unit of measurement for the par quantity.
  7. Under Par Quantity, enter the minimum quantity of the item that you want on hand at the location. When the on hand item quantity is less than the Par Quantity, then a replenishment transaction can be created.
  8. Repeat these steps as needed for each item.

Fields

The following field boxes are available: 

Field Description
Item No. Select the item to associate with the par list of the selected location.
Item Description Displays the item description.
Manufacturer Code

Displays the manufacturer of the item, if applicable.
Manufacturer Item No.

Displays the manufacturer name of the item.
Replenishment Location

Select the replenishment location for the item.

If you have only one location set up as replenishment location then that location will be used as the default replenishment location for all locations.

Replenishment Location Description Displays the description of the replenishment location.
Stock

Displays whether or not the item is a stock item. This value is based on the usage you select in the SKU of the item.

Shelf No. Displays the shelf number.
Auto Issue (Stock) Select whether or not the par quantity is automatically requested during a par count process. You can only select this option if the item is a stock item.
Par UoM

Enter or select the unit of measure for the par quantity.

Par Quantity Enter the quantity at which to reorder the item.
Total Quantity

Displays the total quantity of the par quantity. If you have set the location as a two bin location than the total quantity will be double the par quantity.

The par quantity will be doubled so that both bins can be filled at the same time.

Quantity in Base UoM Displays the quantity of the par reorder converted into the base unit of measure of the item.
Current Cost Displays the unit cost of the item, based on the cost that you set up in the SKU page.
Par Cost Displays the cost of the par reorder, the par quantity multiplied by the current cost.

Actions

The following actions are available:

Copy Par List Copy the par list of from one location to another.
