Create an Expense Allocation Template
To create an expense allocation template, follow these steps:
- Specify a unique Template No. and a Description.
- Select a Charge No. for the expense allocation.
- Select the Allocation Method.
- Optionally, select a Category Name.
- For each line in the Lines FastTab, select a lease.
If the allocation method is Percentage, specify a percentage amount.
Template List
Displays a read-only list of all available expense allocation templates. This list shows the following information:
- Template number and description
- Charge number
- Allocation method
- Property category
Template Card Fields
The following field boxes are available:
Field | Description |
General | |
Template No. | Specify a unique template number. |
Description | Specify a template description. |
Charge No. | Select a charge for the expense allocation. |
Charge Description | Displays the charge description. Read-only. |
Allocation Method |
Select the allocation method for the template:

Category Name | Select the category for the template. Optional. When selected, only leases that use the category type can be selected in the Lines FastTab. |
Lines | |
Lease No. | Select a lease for the expense allocation. When a Category Name is selected in the General FastTab, only leases that use the specified category can be selected. |
Property Levels | Select the lowest level for the selected lease. |
Percentage |
Specify the percentage for the expense allocation. Available and required for the Percentage allocation method. When Allow Expense Amount to Exceed the Invoice Amount is turned on on the PLM Property Lease Management Setup, the sum total of all allocation percentages can exceed 100. |
Actions
The following actions are available:
