Use this page to specify the insurance information for a lease. The list on the left navigation is a summary of all policies with their start and end dates. The Coverages list is for viewing the details on the insurance policies and adding the details for policies or removing old policies.

Add Insurance Details

To add insurance information for a lease, follow these steps:

  1. From the Lease Details, select Lease > Insurance > Insurance.
  2. In the Coverage list, select Add line to add the insurance policy details.
  3. Specify the following information: 
    1. Insurance policy number and Insurance provider
    2. Policy amount and cost.
    3. Policy start and end dates.
  4. Add any attachments to the insurance policy. The Attachments value is updated with the number of attachments you added.

This page contains the following fields: 

Field Description
Lease number

Displays the lease number.

Coverages list
Displays a list of all insurance policies for the lease.
Insurance policy number Specify the insurance policy number. Required.
Description Specify the description of the insurance.
Required amount Specify the required amount for the insurance.
Certificate Specify the insurance certificate number, if applicable.
Insurance provider Specify the name of the insurance provider.
Policy cost

Specify the cost of the insurance policy.

Start/End date insured period Specify the start and end dates of the insurance policy. Required.
Policy amount

Specify the insurance policy amount.

Attachments

Displays the number of attachments for the insurance policy.

Adding an attachment is part of the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations functionality.
