User Defined Fields

Modules > Property lease management > Leases > All Leases > [select a lease] or select New > Notification > User defined fields.

Use this page to specify the values for the user defined fields.

Update the User Defined Fields for a Lease

To update the values for user defined fields for a lease, follow these steps: 

  1. Create a lease or open an existing lease.
  2. On the Lease Details, select Notification > User defined fields, which opens the User Defined Fields page.
  3. Specify the values for the available user defined fields .
  4. Select Save.

Fields

The user defined fields that are available depend on the fields that are created on the Custom Fields tab FastTab of the Property Lease Management Parameters page.

Update the User Defined Fields for a Sales Order

To update the values for user defined fields for a sales order, follow these steps:

  1. Create a sales order or open an existing sales order.
  2. In the sales line action pane, select User defined fields. This will open a window that explains the UDFs that came from the lease charge.
  3. Edit the UDF values as needed.
  4. Select Save.

Note: UDF values can only be edited if the sales line has not been invoiced. Otherwise, it will be read-only.

Update the User Defined Fields for a Free-Text Customer Invoice

To update the values for user defined fields for a free-text customer invoice, follow these steps: 

  1. Create a free-text invoice or open an existing invoice.
  2. In the invoice lines action pane, select User defined fields. This will open a window that explains the UDFs that came from the lease charge.
  3. Edit the UDF values as needed.
  4. Select Save.

Note: UDF values can only be edited if the customer invoice has not been not posted. Otherwise, it will be read-only.
