Monthly Breakpoint Reached: Example

The monthly breakpoint reached is a cumulative calculation method. As sales amounts are reported, the calculation includes prior periods that are cumulative up to the reporting year. Billing is not created until the annual breakpoint amount is reached during one of the billing periods. If the annual breakpoint amount is reached during one of the billing periods, the amounts will be billed based on that percentage.

Breakpoint Check Example

  • Calculation method: Non-natural Breakpoint
  • Frequency: Monthly After Breakpoint Reached
  • Breakpoint amount = 500,000.00
  • Percent Rate = 5%
