Billing by Amount
When billing by amount, you can set a minimum and a maximum amount to charge.
Billing Minimum by Amount
The billing minimum defines the minimum fees paid for an item.
For example, using the price brackets, assume the billing minimum is 200.00. If the quantity in the current month is 10, the price is determined as:
- 10 x 1.50 =15.00
Since the billing minimum is 200.00, the invoice shows the following:
Item Number | Quantity | Unit Price | Price |
---|---|---|---|
3-A2440A | 10 | 20.00 | 200.00 |
Billing Maximum by Amount
The billing maximum defines the maximum amount to be paid for an item in the billing period.
For example, using the price brackets, assume the billing maximum is 500.00. If the quantity in the current month is 600, the price is determined as follows (using the Standard pricing method):
- 600 x 1.00 = 600.00
Since the billing maximum is 500.00, the invoice shows the following:
Item Number | Quantity | Unit Price | Price |
---|---|---|---|
3-A2440A | 600 | 0.83 | 500.00 |
