Revenue Split Workflow
Ensure a system administrator completes the setup tasks:
- On the Revenue Split Template page, create bundle items.
- On the Item Standalone Selling Price page, specify the standalone selling price for items.
Create Sales Order
To create a sales order that has an item that uses revenue splitting, follow these steps:
- On the Sales Order page, create a sales order with items.
- For each item that uses revenue splitting, select the Revenue split check box for the line.
This item becomes the parent item, and if the template is already set up, the child items automatically appear in the list. - To add more child items, select Add revenue split child, and select the child item you want to add.
- Save the order and process it when you are ready.
Create Billing Schedule
To create a billing schedule that has an item that uses revenue splitting, follow these steps:
- Create a billing schedule using the Billing Schedule Workflow.
- For each item that uses revenue splitting, select the Revenue split check box for the line.
This item becomes the parent item, and if the template is already set up, the child items automatically appear in the list. - To add more child items, select Add revenue split child, and select the child item you want to add.
- Continue with the steps for working with the billing schedule.
