Set Sales Prices per Entity

You can set up sales prices for items based on various pricing strategies. For example, you can set discounted prices for specific customers, customer discount groups, or contacts.

With MEM, you can set up price lists for specific entities. For example, you can set up a sales price list for Item A, with a discounted price when it is sold by Entity 100 to Customer B. That price list is associated with Entity 100 and can be used for sales orders, quotes, and invoices associated with that entity.

You can also define the same price for multiple entities in a single line by using a filter expression. To set up price lists for entities, use the following variables to set up a specific price list:

• Assign-to Type
• Assign-to No.
• Entities
• Unit of Measure
• Minimum Quantity
• Currency
• Effective Date Range (Starting Date and Ending Date)
• Variant Code
• Work Type Code

To set up a sales price list for an item, do the following:

1. Search for and open Items. Create a new item or select an existing item to edit.
2. Go to the Price & Sales FastTab.
3. Select Sales Prices & Discounts to open the Sales Prices list.
4. If you turn on Allow Updating Defaults then the following fields will not be available to edit in the Lines section:
   1. Assign-to Type
      1. Customer master security will apply if you select Customer as the Assign-to Type and if you have turned on Customer Security in your
   2. Assign-to No.
   3. Currency Code
   4. Starting Date and Ending Date
5. Under the Item FastTab, select the entity owner of the item if it does not have one.
6. Under Replenishment section, select Assembly as the Replenishment System.
7. Under the Assembly tab, select the type of Assembly Policy for the item.
8. Select the Assembly BOM, if you want to add component items or resources.

Note: Fields marked with an *asterisks are only visible when the Intercompany Sales with Drop Ship setting is enabled in MEM Multi-Entity Management Setup window.

Price List Lines

Use this page to view the sales price lists available for the selected item. To navigate to this page, search for and go to Items > [Select and open an Item Card] > Prices & Discounts >Sales Prices.

The entities associated with each price list are displayed under the Entity Filter column.

Sales Price List Enhancement

The price list functionality enables users to define multiple Sales Price Lists, and to provide special prices for all customers, specific customers, customer price groups, and customer discount groups. However it did not support campaigns or contacts. This enhancement extends the Price List functionality to support prices based on MEM entities.

Prices Overview

Use this page to view or edit all sales price lists. You can use filters under the General section to view specific price lists. To navigate to this page, search for and go to Prices Overview. For more information see: Editing active price lists.

The entities associated with each price list are displayed under the Entity Filter column. You can filter the price lists by entity either by selecting an entity in the Entity Filter field under the General section, or by using the Entity Filter field under the Lines section.

Note: The Entity ID Filter value cannot be edited on lines where the Assign-to Type is either Project or Project Task.

Price List Security

• When you select Customer as the Assign-to Type filter and if you have turned on Customer Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then customer master security will apply to the list of available customers.
• When you select Item as the Product Type filter and if you have turned on Item Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then item master security will apply to the list of available items.
• When you select Resource as the Product Type filter and if you have enabled Resource Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then resource master security will apply to the list of available resources.

Price Worksheet

Use this page to view or edit all sales price lists. You can use filters under the General section or Lines section to view specific price lists. To navigate to this page, search for and go to Prices Worksheet.

The entities associated with each price list are displayed under the Entity Filter column. You can view and edit the price lists by entity by using the Entity Filter field under the Lines section.

Price List Security

• When you select Customer as the Assign-to Type filter and if you have enabled Customer Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then customer master security will apply to the list of available customers.
• When you select Item as the Product Type filter and if you have enabled Item Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then item master security will apply to the list of available items.
• When you select Resource as the Product Type filter and if you have enabled Resource Security in your Multi-Entity Management Setup, then resource master security will apply to the list of available resources.
