SBS MERA MEA Template

Use this page to create and edit multiple element arrangement (MEA) template ID’s. These IDs are used on the Revenue Allocation page to group items together.

Add MEA Template

To add an MEA template, follow these steps:

  1. From the SBS MERA MEA Templates List, select New, which opens the SBS MERA MEA Templatepage.
  2. Specify a unique MEA Number and Description.
  3. Select the Deferred Contract Revenue Account.

Edit MEA Template

To edit an MEA template, follow these steps: 

  1. From the SBS MERA MEA Templates List, select a record and select Edit.
  2. In the SBS MERA MEA Template form, edit the information as needed.

Delete MEA Template

To delete an MEA teamplate, follow these steps: 

  1. From the SBS MERA MEA Templates List, select a record and select Delete.
  2. When you are asked to confirm the action, select Yes.

Fields

This page contains the following fields: 

Field Description
MEA Number Specify a unique multiple element arrangement identifier.
Description

Specify a description of the template.

Deferred Contract Revenue Account

Specify the account you want to use for journal entries when a multiple element arrangement (MEA) contract invoice is created.

Available when Advanced Recurring Contract Billing is installed and used.
