Service Contract Quotes List

Use this page to review the list of service contract quotes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Only the records that belong to the entities to which you have access appear in the list.

List Fields

This list contains the following MEM columns:

Field Description
Entity Code Displays the entity code for the line.
Global Dimension Code Displays an additional global dimension for the line.

Create Service Contract Quote

To create a service contract quote, follow the steps in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central documentation and incorporate the following: 

  1. From the Service Contract Quotes List, select New.
  2. In the Select Entity dialog, select the Entity Code, and select OK.
    The number series cannot be edited.

When adding the customer number, service item number or item number, you can access only the records that belong to entities to which you have access. Multi-Entity Management security is set up on the Multi-Entity Management Setup.

This page contains the following MEM fields:

Entity Code

Select the entity for the record. You can change the entity to any entity to which you have access.

The default value is your default entity that you selected in My Settings. If you did not set up the default entity, the default entity is first entity in the list that you have access.

Actions

This page contains the following actions: 

Action Description
Process > Copy Document Opens a dialog where you can copy item from one service contract to a different service contract. With the Multi-Entity Management security feature, you can select only from the document numbers that belong to entities to which you have access. Also, the copy feature only works for copying service contracts that belong to the same entity.
