SBS ARCB Milestone Details

Use this page to review the milestone details for the selected billing schedule line.

This page has a filter applied to it that specifies the billing schedule number and the line number.

Review Milestone Item

To review a milestone item, follow these steps:  

  1. On the SBS ARCB Billing Schedule Card page, select a line in the Schedule Lines FastTab.
  2. Select Milestone > Milestone Details, which opens the SBS ARCB Milestone Details page.
  3. Review the values in the Header Fields, and make any changes as needed.
  4. Review the Lines FastTab, and make any changes as needed.
    When adding a line, do the following: 
    1. Select the Type and Item No.
    2. Depending on the allocation method selected, specify the Percentage or Amount.
    3. Select the Frequency.
    4. Specify a Milestone ID.
  5. Select Actions > Process > Process.

After processing is completed, the of the milestone item is updated.

Header Fields

The following field boxes are available: 

Field Description
Milestone No. Displays the milestone template name.
Allocation Method

Select the allocation method: 

  • Percentage of Completion: A cumulative completion value for each line.
  • By Percentage: A percentage amount can be specified for the allocation. The sum of all percentages must equal 100.
  • Variable Amount: An amount can be specified for the allocation. The allocation amount is specified at the transaction level.
  • Equal Amount: The allocation percentages are automatically calculated and equally split among the items within the template.
  • By Quantity: The specific allocation quantity for each line is entered at time of the transaction.
Total Amount Displays the amount for the milestone item.
Is Progressive

Indicates whether the template uses the progressive milestone billing functionality. The default setting is from the main milestone template, and change be changed as needed.

  • On: The template uses the progressive milestone billing functionality. When used, the Frequency value for a line can be changed.
  • Off: The template does not use the progressive milestone billing functionality. When this option is set to off, the Frequency value is set to One Time and cannot be changed.

Lines

Displays all lines for the milestone item.

Field Description
Type Displays the milestone type: Item, Charge (Item), or Resource.
Item No.

Select the item number.

Item Description

Displays the description for the item.

Allocation Method

Displays the allocation method you selected. You cannot change this value within the line grid. The allocation method is set in the box above the lines grid.

Percentage/Amount

Displays the allocation percentage for the milestone:

  • When Allocation Method is Percentage, you can specify the percentage.
  • When Allocation Method is Equal Amounts, the percentage is automatically calculated into equal percentages based on the number of items in the template.

The sum of all the percentages must equal 100%.

Frequency

Select the default frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual, or One Time.

Milestone ID Specify a unique milestone template ID.

Actions

The following actions are available:

Process Updates the completion date for the selected billing schedule line.
