Set Up Customer-End User Relationship
Customer records can be set up to be end users for other customer records so that you can establish customer-end user relationship and attach the end user to a billing schedule. To set the customer-end user relationship, follow these steps:
- Follow the steps in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central documentation to create customer records.
- For the customer records that you want to be end users, select Actions > ARCB > ARCB Defaults.
- On the dialog that appears, turn on the End User option and then close the dialog.
Ensure this option is turned on for all customer records that you want to use as the end user for customer-end user relationships.
- On the dialog that appears, turn on the End User option and then close the dialog.
- For customer records to which you want to assign end users, select Actions > ARCB > End User Assign.
- The SBS ARCB Customer and End User Relationship page opens.
The Customer value is automatically updated with the current customer. - In the list select one or more End User records for the relationships.
- When you are finished creating relationships, close the page.
- The SBS ARCB Customer and End User Relationship page opens.
To view a list of all available end users, open the SBS ARCB Billing End User List page. You can also use this page to create end user records.
Currently, customer-end user relationships can only be reviewed in one direction, from the customer record only, not the end user record. For example, a customer VAR1 has relationships with EndUser1, EndUser3, and EndUser5. On the SBS ARCB Customer and End User Relationship, you can see that VAR1 has relationships with records, EndUser1, EndUser3, and EndUser5. However, when you review the EndUser1 record, no customer records for this end user can be viewed.
After the relationships are created, you can attach an end user (End User No.) to a billing schedule.
