Cancel a Sales Order

From time to time, you might have to cancel a sales order that has been created through the Invoice Creator. As long as the status of a sales order is Open, the sales order can be canceled.

Note: Once an invoice is posted the sales order cannot be canceled.

When a sales order is canceled, the following occurs: 

• On the View Billing Detail page:
  • The Billed check box is cleared
  • The Sales order number is cleared
  • The billing line is again available to be billed
