  2. Select the global dimension that is set up as the Entity Dimension and select Dimension > Dimension Values.

Setup Example

In this example, Vendor 100000 has four invoices with different entities:

Entity Code Invoice Number Code Invoice Amount
LARGE Invoice 1 DIV-01 250.00
LARGE Invoice 2 DIV-01 200.00
SMALL Invoice 3 DIV-01 150.00
MEDIUM Invoice 4 DIV-03 300.00

The MEM 1099 Form Boxes is setup with the following minimum reportable values:

Entity Code Code Minimum Reportable
LARGE DIV-01 200.00
MEDIUM DIV-03 250.00
SMALL DIV-01 200.00

The sum of the invoice amounts for each entity is as follows:

Entity Code Code Invoice Sum Amount
LARGE DIV-01 450.00 Sum of Invoice 1 and Invoice 2
MEDIUM DIV-03 300.00 Invoice 4
SMALL DIV-01 150.00 Invoice 3

When the 1099 report is run, only the amounts for the entity codes LARGE and MEDIUM appear on the report.

  • For entity code LARGE, the minimum reportable amount is 200.00. The sum total of the invoices with DIV-01 is 450.00, which is more than the minimum reportable amount (200.00).
  • For entity code MEDIUM, the minimum reportable amount is 250.00. The invoice total with DIV-03 is 300.00, which is more than the minimum reportable amount (250.00).

For entity code SMALL, the minimum reportable amount is 200.00. The invoice total with DIV-01 is 150.00, which is less than the minimum reportable amount (200.00). As a result, this amount does not appear on the 1099 report.
