SBS ARCB Customer Inquiry

Use this page to generate an inquiry of all billing schedule lines for a specified customer. The lines are automatically updated based on the filter criteria specified in the header.

This inquiry page can be opened from the Customer Card or the SBS ARCB Billing Schedule Card pages.

Running an Inquiry

To run an inquiry, follow these steps:

  1. Select a Customer.

    The list of records is updated with all records for the selected customer that satisfy the default criteria.

  2. Specify the As of Date.
  3. Turn on or off the various options so that only the records you want to view are available in the list.
  4. Click on Process to view the data.
  5. Some of the options consolidate the billing schedule lines in the same way the SBS ARCB Billing Schedule Order/Invoice Creator consolidates lines.

  6. Select a line, and select Schedule Information.

    A dialog appears showing all billing schedules for the selected line. Based on the consolidation, a line can have multiple billing schedules.

  7. From the dialog, select a billing schedule to view the details.

Fields

This page contains the following fields: 

Field Description
Customer Select the customer record on which you want to run the inquiry.
As Of Date Specify the as of date for the inquiry. All records as of the specified date are included in the inquiry.
Include Invoiced Period

Select whether to include periods where the invoices have already been created.

  • All: All periods are included in the inquiry.

  • Unbilled: Only periods where the invoices have not yet been created are included in the inquiry.

  • Billed: Only periods where the invoices have been created are included in the inquiry.

Consolidate By Customer

Select whether the lines for a contract are consolidated into a single line in the inquiry as per the customer.

• On: Shows one consolidated line per customer having same item line in the inquiry based upon the consolidation factors.

• Off: Shows multiple lines based on the contract periods in the inquiry.

This option must be used with Consolidate by Item On.

Consolidate by Item

Select whether items are consolidated to a single line.

  • On: Consolidates lines in the list based on the item number. Items are consolidated based on the frequency, unit of measure, and unit price.
  • Off: Does not consolidate the lines.
Excluding Start and End Dates

Select whether the billing start date and end date are considered when items are consolidated.

  • On: The billing start and end dates are not considered when lines are consolidated.
  • Off: The billing start and end dates are considered when items are consolidated.
Include Auto Renewal Schedules

Select whether to show the Auto-Renewal Schedule lines in the Inquiry.

On: We will display the auto-renewal period according to the As of Date.

Off: We will not display any auto-renewal period according to the As of Date.

Hide Revenue Split Child

Select whether to show the parent item or the child items of a revenue split.

  • On: Shows only the parent item in a revenue split.
    When this option is turned on, the line item is the parent item and the extended price is the sum of the extended price of all child items.
  • Off: Shows each child item with parent item in a revenue split.
Lines

Displays lines that satisfy the filter criteria specified in the header. The lines show the following information: 

  • Sell-To Customer
  • Ship-To Code
  • Item number, description, location
  • Billing frequency
  • Unit of measure
  • Quantity, unit price, discount amount, calculated value of unit price including the discount
  • Extended price
  • Tax code
  • Revenue split indicator\
  • Transaction Type
  • Bill-To Customer
  • Vat Bus. Posting Group
  • Customer No.
  • Sell-To Contact
  • Sell-To Contact No.
  • Currency
  • Payment Term
  • Payment Method
  • Direct Debit Mandate ID
  • Dimensions
  • External Document No.
  • Customer Posting Group
  • Ship-To Code
  • Vat Prod posting group.
  • Frequency
  • Item Type
  • Dimensions (we will display all 8 dimensions)
  • Billing start date

  • We will save all the UDF of both Header and Lines into the table. If they want to see any UDF’s Values then they can personalize the page and add them to the report.
Totals
Total by Frequency Displays the sum total of lines that have the same billing frequency.
Grand Total Displays the sum total of all lines.

Button

This page contains the following buttons: 

Button Description
Schedule Information Opens a dialog, where you can review the billing schedule information for the selected line. Because lines can be consolidated, a single line can have more than one billing schedule attached to it.
Process The data will be displayed when user clicks on process button.
