Revenue Allocation Workflow

Ensure a system administrator completes the setup tasks:

  1. On the SBS MERA MEA Template page, create multiple element arrangement (MEA) template ID’s.
  2. On the SBS MERA Multi-Element Revenue Allocation Setup page, set up the general parameters for using MERA.

To use the revenue allocation functionality, follow this general workflow:

  1. On the Sales Invoice page, create a sales order with items.
  2. Select Actions > SB Functions > Revenue Allocation.
  3. Select the MEA type and MEA number.
    Or set MEA type to Multiple.
  4. Save the invoice and process it when you are ready.

If you use ARCB, the billing schedule is automatically created. You can view and edit the revenue allocation for a billing schedule in the SBS MERA Revenue Allocation (ARCB) page.
