Revenue Allocation Workflow
Ensure a system administrator completes the setup tasks:
- On the SBS MERA MEA Template page, create multiple element arrangement (MEA) template ID’s.
- On the SBS MERA Multi-Element Revenue Allocation Setup page, set up the general parameters for using MERA.
To use the revenue allocation functionality, follow this general workflow:
- On the Sales Invoice page, create a sales order with items.
- Select Actions > SB Functions > Revenue Allocation.
- Select the MEA type and MEA number.
Or set MEA type to Multiple. - Save the invoice and process it when you are ready.
If you use ARCB, the billing schedule is automatically created. You can view and edit the revenue allocation for a billing schedule in the SBS MERA Revenue Allocation (ARCB) page.
