Intercompany Suite Setup Workflow
To use the Intercompany Suite functionality, ensure to set up the following areas in addition to the standard Multi-Entity Management setup:
When setting up Intercompany Suite, follow this general workflow:
- Purchase an Intercompany Suite license.
See Licensing in Multi-Entity Management - Set up the MEM licensed users.
See MEM Licensed Users Setup - Register an Azure Active Directory application, and set it up in Business Central.
See Microsoft Entra ID Card - On the Intercompany FastTab of the Multi-Entity Management Setup page, turn on Enable Intercompany Suite.
- If the same users have different usernames, set up the Intercompany User Mappings.
See Create a User Mapping - If the Intercompany Suite partner companies you use belong to different tenants or environments, set up endpoint on the IC Suite Endpoints page.
- Create an IC Suite partner code. For more information, see Set Up Intercompany Transactions .
- On the IC Suite Partners page, set up the Intercompany Suite partner relationships.
- If "Disable Auto Synchronization" is set to true on the Intercompany FastTab of the Multi-Entity Management Setup page, then you must manually Synchronize Data between companies.
