PLM Sales Reporting

Use this page to enter the sales reporting amounts for the generated billing periods. Sales reporting amounts can be imported from an Microsoft Excel file or from the API endpoint (API: Sales-Based Reporting).

When this page is opened from the PLM Lease, the sales reporting lines are for all sales-based charges in the lease. When this window is opened for a specific sales-based charge, the reporting lines are for the individual charge.

Enter Sales Reporting Amounts for a Lease

To enter the sales reporting amounts, follow these steps: 

  1. View a lease on the PLM Lease.
  2. Select Lease Sales Reporting to open the PLM Sales Reporting page.
  3. On the General FastTab, review and change the reporting options as needed.
  4. On the Sales Reporting Lines FastTab, review each line and specify the Reporting Amount and the Reporting Date.
  5. From the header actions, select Late Fee Processing.

Enter Sales Reporting Amounts for a Charge

To enter the sales reporting amounts, follow these steps: 

  1. View a lease on the PLM Lease.
  2. Select the charge to view on the PLM Lease Charges.
  3. For the sales-based charge, select Charge Details > Lease Sales Reporting to open the PLM Sales Reporting page.
  4. On the General FastTab, review and change the reporting options as needed.
  5. On the Sales Reporting Lines FastTab, review each line and as needed do the following: 
    1. Specify the Reporting Amount and the Reporting Date.
  6. From the header actions, select Late Fee Processing.

General

The following field boxes are available: 

Field Description
Lease No. Displays the lease number.
Sales Reporting No. Displays the number series to use for sales-based reporting.
Sales Reporting Name Displays the name for the sales report.
Reporting Frequency

Displays the reporting frequency.

Grace Period Specify the number of days from the reporting date that the sales reporting is considered late. The default is from the PLM Sales Based Charge Setup page.
Reporting Start/End Date Specify the date range for running the report.

Sales Reporting Lines

Displays lines based on the criteria specified in the General FastTab. The list shows the following information: 

Action Description
Sales Reporting No. Displays the number series for the sales reporting. This value can be changed. Read-only.
Sales Reporting Displays the name for the sales reporting line. Read-only.
Reporting Start/End Date Displays the start and end date of the reporting period for the line. Read-only.
Last Date to Report Displays the last date on which the report can be run before it is considered late. This date is calculated as follows: Reporting End Date + Grace Period. Read-only.
Reporting Amount Specify the reporting amount for the line.
Reporting Date Select the date on which the sales amount is reported. This date is used to determine whether a late processing fee is applied to the lease. For example, if the date is after the Last Date to Report for the line, a late fee will be applied.

Actions

The following actions are available: 

Action Description
Late Fee Processing Opens the PLM Sales Reporting Late Fee Processing, where the late fees for the sales reporting are processed.
